Smile Hi all

Off to Scotland in the morning for a weeks holiday. I am so looking forward to just chilling out amongst beautiful scenery and having time to myself to do whatever I like. This week has come at the right time for me. Hoping to come back fighting fit (well, perhaps that was a little optimistic) but certainly feeling in a better state of mind.

I will miss you all and look forward to catching up on what I will miss during the week.

Sheila x

P.S. On the lookout for a tam o' shanter or a glengarry, possibly even a bearskin to hide the barnet!!!

Hi Sheila

Hope you have a great time in Scotland. We went last year and I was so impressed with the beauty and space. I am sure it will be a great time for you.

Hi Sheila,

Lucky old you!! We love Scotland, and had a glorious week up at Lochcarron at Easter. Enjoy your break, and come back feeling refreshed.

Hi everyone

Thanks everyone for your comments. I have been going to Scotland on a regular basis since I was a child. I absolutely love it and always said I would retire there. My husband and I have been at least once a year for many years now and love every part of it.

Kathleen, I love Loch Carron. We were there last summer and the train journey to Kyle of Lochalsh passing Loch Carron is fantastic.

Lorna, We are going to Perthshire this time about 3 miles from Blairgowrie but usually go much further north. Where do you live?

Sheila x

Hi Sheila
Have a lovely time. I've only been once to Fort William - such a beautiful place - and we had sun the whole 2 weeks we were there. We visited Mull and Iona. I remember the sand being so white.
Been to Gretna Green a few times, when staying in the Lake District!
Hope you get time to relax and enjoy yourself.
love Anne xx ThumpUp

Hi Sheila,

I live in Fife, about 30 miles ish from where you are going. We could meet up if you like, you are welcome to visit me for the afternoon if you wish, or we could meet up with you in Blairgowrie also.

I love Kyle of Lochalsh too and Fort William, and Alt Bea is also absolutely beautiful right up North. The weather has been superb recently, I hope it continues when you are up here, it makes all the difference.

Take care and safe journey up North.

Hope you have a wonderful, refreshing holiday, Sheila. Scotland is just beautiful. When I was young, I spent many happy holidays caravanning in the highlands with my parents. Happy memories. Take care
